Founded in 1996, Avant Garde hails from extremely humble beginnings. What started off with just two guards has grown from strength to strength over the years, and today, Avant Garde employs over 3,700 security personnel, of which approximately 95% are ex servicemen of the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force and Police Department. Our service spans across the island, with our 14 branches serving more than 350 clients in over 1,200 locations. We cater to both government and private sector organizations, as well as blue chip companies.
Even though Avant Garde’s initial objective was to provide basic security services, the rapid expansion of our operation has given rise to an extensive service portfolio, which now includes body guard services for VVIPs, provision of high powered vehicles for the transportation of cash and jewellery with armed guards, investigations into thefts, robbery and pilferages, conduction of fire evacuation and safety drills, supply and installation of CCTV systems and modernized security equipments and many more.
